Recently, science magazine published the world's first atlas of cancer cases, which is the heavyweight achievement of Swedish scientists. This study links thousands of specific cancer related genes with the survival of patients, and discovers 32 "common" genes that are not classified by cancer type but related to 80% of human cancers. This achievement will help doctors to predict the future cancer treatment: through the existing data, the genome-wide personal metabolic model can be established, and researchers can predict the development of cancer, and propose targeted treatment programs to improve the prognosis of patients and prolong the survival time of patients. The study was published in the August 18 issue of the journal Science.
